๐ฅ Game of the Night: Overtime Thrillers
Stillwater 3, East Ridge 2 (OT) – Batchelor’s Heroics
At the St. Croix Valley Recreation Center, Tate Batchelor played the role of hero for Stillwater, scoring twice including the overtime winner at 4:07 to lift the Ponies past East Ridge 3-2. Despite being outshot 38-21, Stillwater’s Gavin Bajda stood tall in net with a .905 save percentage.
East Ridge’s power play was electric, converting 2 of 3 opportunities (66.67%) with goals from Lance Kohnen and Ivan Schmitz. But when it mattered most, Batchelor delivered. His game-tying goal with 1:27 left in regulation at 13:33 of the third period set the stage for his overtime heroics.
Bloomington Jefferson 5, Two Rivers 4 (OT) – Short-Handed Magic
In West St. Paul, Bloomington Jefferson pulled off something special – a short-handed overtime winner. Brayden Thomas found the back of the net just 4:04 into the extra frame while the Jaguars were down a man, capping off a wild back-and-forth battle.
Blake Dosan led Jefferson with 3 points (1G, 2A), while Two Rivers’ Gavin Tritz matched that output with 1 goal and 2 assists. The game featured plenty of penalty drama, with Two Rivers accumulating 19 penalty minutes including a game misconduct.
New Ulm 2, Minnesota River 1 (OT) – Anderson’s Wall
Despite being outshot 30-19, New Ulm’s Colton Anderson was absolutely sensational in net, posting a .967 save percentage to keep his team in the game. Melvin Sellner rewarded Anderson’s brilliance with the overtime winner just 1:54 into the extra period, assisted by Jaxon Saenz and Bobby Rewitzer.

๐ฏ Offensive Explosions
Luverne 18, Redwood Valley 0 – Historic Domination
The night’s most lopsided affair saw Luverne absolutely demolish Redwood Valley 18-0 at the Redwood Area Community Center. This wasn’t just a win – it was a statement.
Maddux Domagala put on a clinic with 6 goals and 3 assists for 9 points. Yes, you read that right – NINE POINTS. Colton Haubrich added 3 goals and an assist, while Benjamin Hartquist chipped in 2 goals and 2 assists.
The Cardinals controlled every aspect of the game, outshooting Redwood Valley 62-10. Goaltender Xander Remme didn’t face much work, but he was perfect when called upon, posting a 1.000 save percentage for the shutout. Remarkably, not a single penalty was called in the entire game.
Bagley/Fosston 12, Lake of the Woods 1 – Second Period Explosion
Bagley/Fosston turned on the jets in the second period, scoring 9 goals in the middle frame en route to a 12-1 demolition of Lake of the Woods. Wyatt Gerbracht (3G, 2A) and Logan Dillich (2G, 3A) each posted 5-point nights, while Cole Johnson added a hat trick.
The most remarkable stat? Lake of the Woods actually outshot Bagley/Fosston 31-20, but Brookston Hildebrandt’s stellar goaltending (.966 save percentage) kept the Bears at bay.
Hibbing/Chisholm 9, Duluth Denfeld 3 – Shot Barrage

The Blue Jackets’ power play was lethal, converting 3 of 7 opportunities (42.86%). Despite Matthew Smith’s 55 saves for Denfeld, the shot volume was simply too much to overcome.
